Alfred Loisy famously wrote: Jesus preached the Kingdom, but what came was the church. This statement was designed to reveal an impoprtant truth. In the year 2000, a thought came to rest very powerfully in my conscience. It is the end of the Church Age and the beginning of the Kingdom Age. It permeated the very core of my being. Despite the emphasis many place on the church, Jesus mentioned the church only twice in all four Gospels. By way of contrast, He spoke continually about the Kingdom. New Testament Christianity wasn't a denomination. It was a movement. It was a radical, spiritual revolution. They did not join a denomination, but made a covenant with God and became a part of a wider community of believers. Those who came into this new and everlasting covenant with God would be referred to as the church, or the Body of Christ. Their goal was to bring forth the Kingdom of God through the manifest power of Christ within them.--Back cover.

The Kingdom of Mélekh is now a forgotten dream, little more than ancient ruins and a note in history. The world of men is once more divided, while a sinister threat grows in the desolate lands to the north. Zidek, the immortal prophet who set the Crown of Ancients upon King Mélekh's brow a thousand years ago, has taken interest in a young farm boy named Chayim. Acting on a prophecy regarding a coming hero destined to destroy the liche-sorcerer, Tsar-Echthros, and prepare the way for Mélekh's return, Zidek takes the boy under his wing. Together, they set out on a quest to locate Mélekh's ancient sword and armor, which the king long ago divided among his knights for safe keeping. If Chayim is to survive the coming battle and save the world from despairing darkness, he will not only have to accept his calling, but learn how to tap into the very power that brought about the creation of the world.

The Dignity Revolution

Inspiring Christians to see people as God sees them and make a difference As Christians, we want to make a difference in this world. We want to have an impact not only on our immediate family and community, but on wider social issues. We want to protect the vulnerable and engage with the issues that really matter. But how? This book shows us how wonderful, liberating and empowering it is to be made in God’s image. It will change how we see ourselves and other people. Some will feel the call to run for office... others will roll up their sleeves and join the good work of non-profit ministry... and others might simply find little ways to incorporate this vision of human dignity into their everyday lives, and change their community one word, one action, one person at a time. Dan Darling shows us that each one of us can be, and are called to be, part of this new movement-a human dignity revolution that our societies desperately need, and how we-you-are uniquely placed to join. This compelling book shows you how to join the dignity revolution.
