Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular dikenal dengan the silent killer. Hipertensi merupakan kondisi penyakit kronis yang terjadi karena peningkatan tekanan darah di dinding arteri. Dampak yang terjadi saat seseorang menderita tekanan darah tinggi yang dibiarkan terus-menerus dapat merusak organ vital seperti jantung, ginjal, dan otak. Berbagai pendekatan dalam penatalaksanaan hipertensi telah dilakukan dalam penatalaksanaan terapi farmakologis salah satunya yaitu pemberian terapi akupresur. Tidak terlepas dari kemajuan teknologi, pengontrolan tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi membutuhkan perkembangan dalam mengatasi masalah hipertensi. Terapi akupresur dengan menggunakan Alat DNH Akupresur memiliki program microcontroller sehingga akupresur dapat dilakukan secara tepat dan akurat dalam mengatasi masalah hipertensi.
