Memoirs of a Jew born in 1924 in Uzhhorod, relating how he and eight of his nine siblings survived, helping each other and other Jews. After their region of Czechoslovakia was annexed to Hungary in 1939 and the latter was then occupied by the Nazis in 1944, he and his siblings were sent into hiding. Protected by non-Jews, Katz maintained his religious observance. His parents and brother Pinchas were imprisoned in the Uzhhorod ghetto, then sent to Auschwitz, where they were killed. His brother Joe reached Switzerland when emigration was possible. In Budapest, his sister Chana hid as an "Aryan", was arrested, and escaped. She helped her sister Terry and brothers Sonny and Moshe, who had earlier helped their brother Yankel and other Jews hiding on a farm. Moshe witnessed the Sálaszi Iron Cross terror, including the mass drowning of Jewish children. After the war his sister Manca found their brother Louie very ill and nursed him back to health. Moshe helped Jewish refugees after the war, in Prague and Paris. He then moved to the U.S., where he continued living a religious life and helping Jews.

Interpolation Theory and Applications

This volume contains the Proceedings of the Conference on Interpolation Theory and Applications in honor of Professor Michael Cwikel (Miami, FL, 2006). The central topic of this book is interpolation theory in its broadest sense, with special attention to its applications to analysis. The articles include applications to classical analysis, harmonic analysis, partial differential equations, function spaces, image processing, geometry of Banach spaces, and more. This volume emphasizes remarkable connections between several branches of pure and applied analysis. Graduate students and researchers in analysis will find it very useful.

Dr. Buckley skillfully explores many of the "hidden" but powerful prophecies in the Bible. For example, he points to a prophecy in Isaiah 18 that states that a third temple will be built in Jerusalem. Referring to the story in the Book of Esther he points to a prophecy about hanging the ten sons of Haman after they had already been killed. He believes that the execution of ten top Nazis following the Nuremberg trials fulfilled that prophecy. On another subject, did you know that Satan, before his alienation from God, had a home on the planet Rahab, which was the fifth planet from the Sun in our solar system? As a result of the "war in heaven" God destroyed this planet and its remains form th...

IN HIS NAME

One naturally assumes that when they listen to their Pastor, Reverend, or Priest, that they speak the truth, and takes for granted that when the Pope speaks, he also speaks the truth. Yet few Christians are conscious, much less concerned to hear about the truth, or of how they have been deceived for centuries, and betrayed again by their sacrosanct religious institutions bent upon enriching themselves by their ignorance of the faith's history and gullibility. This book deals with the truth, the truth, which many Christian sects do not wish to convey to their followers. For almost two thousand years Christians have maintained that Jesus was God incarnate, a sinless man, a man born of a virgin...

With the establishment of the modern State of Israel in 1948, the world saw a new Jew arise from the ashes of the Holocaust and from millennia of persecution in Arab and Christian lands. From the four corners of the earth, the Jewish people, the nation of Israel, returned home. The "dry bones" came to life creating a democratic state and a powerful military. But, this was not a new Jew at all-it was just the old Jew getting up from the ruins of his destroyed life in the exile, dusting himself off, and returning home. Much has been written about Jewish history, but rarely has the "fighting history" of the Jewish people been told. Known as the "people of the Book," few know the age-old fightin...
