In fact, the rising number of chronic conditions and the shortage of medical services to fulfill pa- tient care demands have increased the need for innovations within the healthcare industry [1]. Recently, the COVID-19 pandemic emphasized the importance of eHealthcare or smart/remote healthcare, thus providing fast, robust, and reliable patient monitoring, often involving various kinds of physiological and medical data for diagnosing the virus. Figure 1 shows a smart healthcare framework involving several com- ponents such as the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), edge and cloud computing, 4G/5G/6G wireless communication, and the stakeholders.
