Metode penelitian kuantitatif adalah metode yang mengandalkan pengukuran objektif dan analisis matematis (statistik) terhadap sampel data yang diperoleh melalui angket, jajak pendapat, tes, atau instrumen penelitian lainnya untuk membuktikan atau menguji hipotesis (asumsi sementara) yang diajukan dalam penelitian. Statistika sangat diperlukan dalam kegiatan penelitian, salah satunya adalah kegiatan penelitian yang menggunakan data dalam bentuk numerik yang disebut dengan penelitian kuantitatif. Sesuai dengan hasil penelitian yang menyatakan bahwa analisis statistik kuantitatif dapat digunakan pada tahapan penelitian mulai dari teknik pengambilan sampel, validitas, reliabilitas, pengujian hipotesis dan interpretasi hasil pengujian (Rudini, 2017), (Hasibuan A, 2007).
