Ils sont de plus en plus nombreux et notre objectif est de fournir un instrument à jour, le plus complet possible, permettant à chacun de prendre appui sur ces textes aux potentialités considérables et, selon ses besoins, de les mobiliser. Nous pensons aux avocats dans les causes dont ils assument la défense, aux magistrats dans les litiges dont ils sont saisis, aux membres de l?administration dans les décisions qu?ils sont amenés à prendre, aux travailleurs sociaux dans l?aide qu?ils apportent aux justiciables, aux militants des droits humains. En fait, ce code s?adresse à toutes celles et tous ceux qui, venant de disciplines et d?horizons divers, souhaitent avoir un accès direct aux textes qui reconnaissent et garantissent les droits fondamentaux.
