Mais do que tentar salvar ou demonizar a juventude, mostra, analisando a política editorial de uma revista específica associada à imprensa em geral, a produção não só de uma noção binária de juventude, mas de toda uma ideologia sobre esse grupo social. Ideologia que mescla pressupostos "naturais" - a juventude como uma fase da vida, repleta de potência – com a clara compreensão de que ela é destinatária inconteste de práticas de formação.
