BICED 2019
As an annual event, 1st Bukittinggi International Conference on Education (BICED) 2019 continued the agenda to bring together researcher, academics, experts and professionals in examining selected theme by applying multidisciplinary approaches. In 2019, IAIN Bukittinggi successfully held this event for the first time in 17-18 October at Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Bukittinggi, West Sumatera, Indonesia. There were 64 papers presented during 2 days at the conference from any kind of stakeholders related with Education, Information Technology, and Mathemathics. Each contributed paper was refereed before being accepted for publication. The double-blind peer reviewed was used in the paper selection. From all papers submitted, there were 38 papers were accepted successfully for publication based on their area of interest, relevance, research by applying multidisciplinary.
Understanding Women in Islam
Understanding Women in Islam: An Indonesian Perspective critically explores gender-biased discourse within Islamic jurisprudence. It also elucidates matters seldom discussed in the Qu'ran and proposes a way out from the current methodological deadlock regarding women's position in Islam. SYAFIQ HASYIM is an analyst for issues on women in Islam, political Islam and Islamic radicalism, and currently Deputy Director of ICIP (International Centre for Islam and Pluralism) in Jakarta.

Women from Traditional Islamic Educational Institutions in Indonesia
Dit is de eerste Engelstalige publicatie over vrouwen in traditionele islamitische onderwijsinstellingen in Indonesië, de zogenaamde 'pesantren'. Deze vrouwen spelen een belangrijke rol de genderproblematiek in de Indonesische moslimgemeenschap. Deze informatieve en inzichtelijke studie dient twee groeiende onderzoeksgebieden in de studies over Indonesië: de studie naar de islam en de studie naar moslimvrouwen. Tevens voegt het een nieuw perspectief toe aan de bestaande Engelstalige literatuur over moslima's buiten de huidige dominante context van het Midden-Oosten of Sub-Indische continent.
SSIK 2023
This book contains the Proceedings of Regional Seminar on Community Issues (SSIK) 2023. The conference is co-hosted by Universitas Halu Oleo (Indonesia), Institute for Social Science of Universiti Putra Malaysia (Malaysia), Universitas Teuku Umar (Indonesia), and Universitas Abulyatama (Indonesia). The event was held on September 20, 2023, in Kendari City, South East Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. The collaboration includes joint committees and support from keynote speakers from each university. This year’s conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, educators, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss the latest trends and issues on the theme and offer challenges and solutions within a given scope. Research articles, literature reviews, and position papers are welcome.

Sejarah pendidikan Islam merupakan cabang ilmu pengetahuan yang membahas tentang pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pendidikan Islam, baik dari segi konsep, ide, maupun lembaga penyelenggaranya.
