Life, Death, and Christian Hope

This book challenges Christians to reframe dying and death in three ways. First, Christians should acknowledge the truth about the human condition. Having done so, Christians are then free to accept lament as an important Christian practice for moving from a dependency on human hope to hope in God or divine hope. Second, with lament Christians are better able to accept death and dying in response to the "Good News" of Holy Scripture, Baptism and Eucharist. Compassionate Awareness

Compassionate Awareness is about experiencing life to the fullest, and allowing the compassion of God to flow through us into the world in mystical, awakened living. "To be absorbed in compassionate awareness means that we receive life with an open heart and tend to it one moment at a time. It means that we partake of the fruit of love and enjoy the magnificence of creation. In prayer and meditation we receive the breath of life and transform it into the presence of God in the world," writes the author. This gracious little book, composed of sixteen brief chapters, is a guide to living the aware life--and a handbook on how to put that life into action through love. Some of the topics the author covers are being one with God, ourselves, creation, and others, as well as how to love consciously, take compassionate action, learn from the compassion of Jesus and transfer it to the world, and to listen and be with others compassionately. Writing simply and movingly, the author evokes a feeling of peace and joy in which readers with find comfort. They will appreciate that a life lived from compassion is a life grounded in God. +

In this book, Hope, Help, Healing with Archangel Raphael and The Angels, many comments and much information is given which is extremely important at this time in terms of very much needed hope both in the present and for the future. Planet Earth and the individuals living on it need to know about Angels, Archangels, Spirit Guides, and Ascended Masters in order to avail themselves of all the helpful, hopeful, healing, protecting and guiding ways they have given in the past and about how all these offerings can be utilized now. The Emerald Joy Healing Ceremonials, the attunements and the messages are valuable because they come directly from Archangel Raphael himself, his contributions benefiting us all. The authors intensive and extensive research about past Golden Ages and the predicted Golden Age to come culminates in a last chapter which shows the cosmic role Planet Earth has played in the past and needs to play again. This book has come forth at this time to offer words of hope, help, and healing to a world in its transformational period!
