Jahrhunderts - festigen die linguistischen Theorien des Erstbearbeiters und eroffnen nicht nur der Philologie weitere Forschungsziele. Neue Daten zu dem fruhesten schriftlichen Erscheinen der Lexien wurden gewonnen, die dialektologischen Angaben erganzt, die Ergebnisse der letzten etymologischen Studien sowie die neuen Orthographienormen beachtet.

Alternative Educational Methodologies
This volume brings together a number of papers presented at the international conference on “Specific Methodologies in Educational Alternatives” held in June 2016, at the Bistriţa University Extension of the Educational Sciences Department of Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The event served to promote the most recent theoretical and practical findings related to educational alternatives, and attracted the attendance of over 250 theorists and experts in the field. The conference represented a significant opportunity to know and develop this field of study, based on research and examples of good practice. The contributions here specifically explore the six educational alternatives that exist in Romania, namely Step by Step, Waldorf, Freinet, Curative Pedagogy, Montessori and the Jenaplan.
Passives Cross-Linguistically
The chapters collected in the volume Passives Cross-Linguistically provide analyses of passive constructions across different languages and populations from the interface perspectives between syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. The contributions are, in principle, all based on the background of generative grammatical theory. In addition to the theoretical contributions of the first part of this volume, all solidly built on rich empirical bases, some experimental works are presented, which explore passives from a psycholinguistic perspective based on theoretical insights. The languages/language families covered in the contributions include South Asian languages (Odia/Indo-Aryan and Telugu/Dravidian, but also Kharia/Austro-Asiatic), Japanese, Arabic, English, German, Modern Greek, and several modern Romance varieties (Catalan, Romanian, and especially southern Italian dialects) as well as Vedic Sanskrit and Ancient Greek.
Comparatism și germanistică
Volumul reuneşte câteva studii şi eseuri care interoghează relaţia controversată în ştiinţa actuală dintre comparatism şi germanistică, respectiv noua paradigmă cu pretenţii salvatoare, „germanistica interculturală”, aducând în scenă câteva analize consacrate scriitorilor germani mai vechi şi mai noi sau unor probleme de estetică a creaţiei. Incitante sunt perspectivele deschise de investigarea fenomenologiei faustice în hermeneutica lui Ernst Bloch şi Constantin Noica şi nu mai puţin interesante sunt spaţiile de cercetare asupra operei lui Lucian Blaga în context german şi cele dedicate lui Heidegger şi implicaţiei sale politice. Reflex al dublei direcţii pe care o reprezintă de fapt toate volumele lui Vasile Voia, cartea de faţă este expresia unei dimensiuni de profunzime şi, desigur, am putea spune, a unicităţii ei în cultura noastră actuală. Ea îmbină inspirat un comparatism al ideilor cu estetica şi filosofia, realizând interferenţa şi unitatea la nivelul superior al discursului critic.
The MIHI EST construction
This book examines the Romanian mihi est construction (Mi-e foame/frică, me.dat = is hunger/fear ‘I am hungry/ afraid’). While it disappeared from all other Romance languages to be replaced with a habeo structure, the mihi est pattern is in Romanian the most common way of expressing psychological or physiological states. By means of synchronic and diachronic corpus studies, the book investigates the status of the core arguments of the mihi est structure, i.e. the dative experiencer and the nominative state noun, as well as its evolution throughout the centuries. The data analysis reveals that the dative experiencer syntactically behaves like nominative subjects, whereas the state noun shows predicate behavior. As for the evolution of the mihi est structure, the analysis shows a certain tendency toward innovation, since in present-day Romanian it can coerce nouns coming from other semantic fields into the construction’s psychological or physiological interpretation. Could this be another unique trait of Romanian, which causes it to seemingly go against the tendency of most Romance languages toward canonical marking of core arguments?

Răzbunarea barbarilor… s-a născut dintr-o emoţie deopotrivă individuală şi colectivă. Impulsul poietic iniţial al răzbunării noastre a trădat, ca întotdeauna, o emoţie mai degrabă exterioară temei – reacţia unui om de cultură singur la nerecunoştinţa/ tăcerea/ răceala/ autismul Cetăţii (tomitane) faţă de cea mai solidă voce poetică, literară, culturală a ei, funcţională deopotrivă în registru simbolic/ mitic şi în viaţa diurnă reală, actuală, a Tomisului.
