Michael Bauknecht (b.1711) married Maria Margaretha Stocklin in 1738, and in 1749/1752 the family immigrated from Germany to Orangeburg District, South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, Indsiana, Wisconsin, Colorado and elsewhere. Includes ancestry in Germany to about 1555 A.D.
