BIS-HSS 2020
The Covid-19 pandemic has changed our activities, like teaching, researching, and socializing. We are confused because we haven’t experienced before. However, as Earth's smartest inhabitants, we can adapt new ways to survive the pandemic without losing enthusiasm. Therefore, even in pandemic conditions, we can still have scientific discussions, even virtually. The main theme of this symposium is "Reinforcement of the Sustainable Development Goals Post Pandemic" as a part of the masterplan of United Nations for sustainable development goals in 2030. This symposium is attended by 348 presenters from Indonesia, Malaysia, UK, Scotland, Thailand, Taiwan, Tanzania and Timor Leste which published 202 papers. Furthermore, we are delighted to introduce the proceedings of the 2nd Borobudur Symposium Borobudur on Humanities and Social Sciences 2020 (2nd BIS-HSS 2020). We hope our later discussion may result transfer of experiences and research findings from participants to others and from keynote speakers to participants. Also, we hope this event can create further research network.
Teori Dasar Kebidanan
Bidan sebagai seorang pemberi layanan kesehatan (health provider) harus dapat melaksanakan pelayanan kebidanan dengan melaksanakan manajemen yang baik. Dalam hal ini bidan berperan sebagai seorang manajer, yaitu mengelola atau memanage segala sesuatu tentang kliennya sehingga tercapai tujuan yang di harapkan. Dalam mempelajari manajemen kebidanan di perlukan pemahaman mengenai dasar-dasar manajemen sehingga konsep dasar manajemen merupakan bagian penting sebelum kita mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang manajemen kebidanan.
Teori dan Aplikasi Pembelajaran IPA SD/MI
Belajar merupakan usaha seseorang untuk membangun pengetahuan dalam dirinya. Dalam proses belajar terjadi perubahan atau peningkatan dari segi kemampuan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa baik dari segi kognitif, afektif maupun psikomotor. Pendidikan harus diupayakan dengan sebaik-baiknya di semua jenjang termasuk pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Guru sebagai pendidik dan pengajar harus mengetahui dan memahami hal-hal apa saja yang perlu dipersiapkan untuk melakukan proses pembelajaran yang efektif bagi siswa. Pada usia Sekolah Dasar, siswa masih berpikir secara konkrit, artinya belum dapat berpikir secara abstrak. Oleh karena itu, guru harus pandaipandai menyajikan materi sesuai dengan karakteristik dan tugas perkembangan siswa Sekolah Dasar. Hal ini menjadi tugas guru untuk merencanakan pembelajaran yang efektif bagi siswa Sekolah Dasar termasuk dalam pembelajaran IPA.

The Philosophy of Public Health
Public health is a particular area of medical practice that raises a series of philosophical issues that require urgent discussion. The philosophy of public health includes metaphysical questions such as, what do we mean by 'public' in public health? How ought we to conceptualise the idea of 'populations'? Are they merely aggregations of individuals? It also includes epistemological questions such as, what methods are most appropriate for thinking about public health? How do empirical and normative issues relate to each other? Controversial ethical, political and social issues, including those relating to vaccinations, the threat of pandemics and possible restrictions to individual liberties, public health research, screening and obesity policy should also be considered. Corneal Biomechanics
While lecturing in recent months at a number of prominent institutions, I asked some of the residents and fellows whether and how they might benefit from a book on corneal biomechanics.
