William Booth I (1780-1859) and his family immigrated from England to Scarborough Township, York County, Ontario between 1830 and 1836. Descendants and relatives lived in Ontario, New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, Alberta and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Michigan, South Dakota and elsewhere in the United States; descendants lived in Michigan, South Dakota, Illinois, New York, Florida, Texas, California, Oregon, Washington and elsewhere in the United States.
