Peter Beachy (1725-1805) and his family immigrated from Switzerland to Baltimore County, Maryland before 1768, and in 1783 moved to Somerset (then Bedford) County, Pennsylvania. Descendants (many were old Amish, many were Mennonites) lived in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa and elsewhere. Some immigrated to Ontario and else- where in Canada.
Georg/George Petersheim (1763-1818) married Christina Nissley/Nissly/ Nisly before 1790. They immigrated from Germany to America in 1810, and eventually settled in Gordonville, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives have scattered throughout the United States as well as into parts of Canada.

Emanuel J. Schrock was born 26 January 1868 in Ohio. He married Catherine J. Troyer (1869-1932) 29 November 1888. They had nine children. He died in 1947. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ohio, Indiana and Mississippi.
Jacob Raber, an Amish Mennonite born in Germany in 1794, married Catherine Egly and lived in Switzerland. They immigrated in 1837 to Millersburg, Ohio and he died in 1861. Includes religion of most individuals, chiefly Amish Mennonite.
Christian Yoder Sr. and his son, Christian Yoder Jr. (1726-1816), Amish Mennonites, immigrated from Switzerland to Philadelphia in 1742, and settled in Berks County, Pennsylvania. John T. Yoder (1840-1922)--a direct descendant in the sixth generation--moved with his parents from Somerset County, Pennsylvania to LaGrange County, Indiana, and married Anna Bontrager in 1863. After several moves in Indiana and Mississippi, the family settled in Thomas, Oklahoma in 1904. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Mississippi, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Idaho, Kentucky, Washington, Canada and elsewhere.
