Green Economy and Sustainable Development
Munculnya konsep pembangunan berkelanjutan (sustainable development) atau pun model green economy tidak lain didasari pada berbagai dampak yang muncul terhadap lingkungan akibat berbagai aktivitas manusia. Green economy menganut visi yang mencoba mengarahkan pembangunan ekonomi ke arah yang berkelanjutan. Kualitas lingkungan bukan hanya menjadi syarat untuk kehidupan manusia yang berkelanjutan, tetapi juga menjadi penerima akibat dari tindakan manusia yang sering abai dengan kondisi di sekitarnya. Ekonomi dan lingkungan seharusnya saling berkaitan secara harmonis, bukan eksploitatif. Kesadaran manusia terhadap aspek teologi, kosmologi, dan antropologi lingkungan membangun sikap dan kecerdasan intelektual, emosional, dan spiritual di bidang ekonomi-lingkungan.
ICASI 2020
As an annual event, The 3rd INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCE & SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION (ICASI) 2020 continued the agenda to bring together researcher, academics, experts and professionals in examining selected theme by applying multidisciplinary approaches. In 2020, this event will be held in 20 June at Garuda Plaza Hotel Medan. The conference from any kind of stakeholders related with Management, Economy, Administration Business, Tourism, Policy, Law, Operation Management and all research in Social Science and Humanities. Palm Oil
Palm oil production is one of the most developed and noteworthy industries in the world, leading to rapid economic growth in countries where the industry has been established. Currently, palm oil is the world's leader in the vegetable oil industry with a yearly production and consumption of approximately 45.3 million tons, which almost covers 60% of the global trade of vegetable oils in the international market. Along these lines, it is expected that the global demand for palm oil will be doubled by 2020. The book focuses on various aspects of palm oil production, primarily, the environmental aspects, its application as an animal feed, chemical and nutritional properties of the oil, and technical aspects of enhancing the efficacy of production.

The World Bank Forest Strategy
This report assesses progress since the World Bank first issued its comprehensive Forest Strategy in 1991. It finds that the effectiveness of the strategy has been modest, and the sustainability of its impact is uncertain. The Report identifies seven factors that would make the World Bank forest strategy more pertinent to current circumstances as well as strengthening its ability to achieve its strategic objectives in the forest sector.
