The first monograph of Artists Anonymous. This publication examines the magnum opus, The Apocalyptic Warriors, which updates for our times the themes of famine, war and death traditionally associated with the Four Horsemen theme. Depicting the traditional "horsemen" and their contemporary companions like drugs, environmental damage and AIDS, the anthropomorphic personifications are incarnated in paintings, photographs, sculptures and videos.

Bruce Nauman
