Parta přátel vyrazí na dovolenou do opuštěné oblasti Beskyd. Po vydařeném začátku volna se ovšem všechno zvrtne v momentě, kdy narazí na neudržovanou odbočku v lesích. Podle navigace by mělo jít o zkratku vedoucí přímo k cíli, k ranči, kde mají být všichni ubytovaní, ručně psaná poznámka na staré turistické mapě ale před touto cestou varuje. Stmívá se a připozdívá, někteří sice váhají, ale nakonec se skupina odbočkou vydá. Nikdo z přátel v této chvíli ještě netuší, jak hluboce budou svého rozhodnutí litovat. Les skrývá tajemství a projít skrz se jen tak někomu nepodaří. Dobrodružství začíná, ale rozhodně ne takové, o jakém by někdo z party snil.
