Jiwa Zahra terguncang setelah dua kali melakukan aborsi akibat hubungan gelap. Ia lari dari rumahnya di Lebanon ke Afrika, tempat tinggal pamannya, namun menjadi sasaran pelecehan sang paman. Ia lalu menikah dengan teman pamannya yang tidak ia cintai. Zahra kembali masuk ke dalam perangkap kehidupan yang membuatnya makin bingung. Setelah bercerai, ia kembali ke Lebanon saat Perang Saudara. Di tengah hiruk-pikuk peranglah Zahra justeru menemukan dirinya sendiri. Ia jatuh cinta untuk pertama kalinya dengan seorang penembak jitu. The Stranger
