This expansive and practical textbook contains organic chemistry experiments for teaching in the laboratory at the undergraduate level covering a range of functional group transformations and key organic reactions.The editorial team have collected contributions from around the world and standardized them for publication. Each experiment will explore a modern chemistry scenario, such as: sustainable chemistry; application in the pharmaceutical industry; catalysis and material sciences, to name a few. Os autores e autoras que aqui expõem suas pesquisas são, em sua maioria, oriundos do curso de Doutorado do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Humanidades, Culturas e Artes, da Universidade do Grande Rio (UNIGRANRIO), sediada em Duque de Caxias, Baixada Fluminense, do Rio de Janeiro, e suas concepções trazem marcas deste tempo/lugar em que vivem e convivem entre si e com a pesquisa científica, apesar de volverem seu olhar peculiar para as questões relativas à interdisciplinaridade, tendo em vista sua formação acadêmica-profissional ter se dado em campos de conhecimentos diferentes uns dos outros.
