The initially published volume (Vol. II/1) of the Dictionary of Romance Anthroponymy appeared in 2004. In the form of articles modelled on those of the major etymological dictionaries, it lists personal names in the Romance languages from the Middle Ages to the present, in line with a classification system devised in the framework of the PatRom project. The bibliography of the Romance sources drawn upon will be published in a separate volume.
