CAMINHOS DO ENSINO
O programa de formação docente deve ter uma rotina de pesquisa desde o seu início. Este livro apresenta uma coletânea de ensaios escritos por aspirantes a professores de química que cursaram a Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (Unicap), sobre assuntos importantes para seu desenvolvimento profissional. Os instrutores da Escola de Educação e Humanidades da Unicap orientaram todas as tarefas. Dessa forma, a série Caminhos do Ensino, pretende apresentar temas relevantes à formação docente e construídos pelos futuros professores da Universidade Católica de Pernambuco.
CAMINHOS DO ENSINO
Embora a interdisciplinaridade na educação seja citada como uma ideia nova para as escolas, ela tem sido um tema de discussão desde meados do século XX. A questão ainda está em grande parte sem solução devido às barreiras práticas que enfrenta e à falta de comunicação entre as instituições de ensino superior. Finalmente, o conceito de conectar disciplinas que antes eram estudadas isoladamente surgiu durante a profunda transformação da capacidade de aprendizagem. Se, por outro lado, essas mudanças resultam em um reconhecimento por parte de pais , educadores e gestores de instituições de ensino , por outro , podem ser um auxílio significativo no desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico e da consciência cívica entre mais cidadãos. Nessa perspectiva, esta obra visa apresentar relatos, experiências e propostas de aplicação para atividades de ensino transversal ou interdisciplinar.

Este trabalho foi concebido durante anos de experiência nas disciplinas de Matemática Básica e Complementos de Matemática, para os cursos de Engenharia e Licenciatura. Atualmente, percebe-se uma necessidade crescente de materiais focados na complementação de aprendizagem em matemática nessas áreas. O estudo da matemática é importante no desenvolvimento do raciocínio lógico, da criatividade, da capacidade de investigação e da solução de problemas.
