The topic 'the lowest common denominator Gelatin could agree on' was shit and its precise realization through gigantic sculptures and naked visitors that aims to include everyone. It's about form, togetherness, and attitude. The book presents various images of the work's development and exhibition, with texts by Peter Sloterdijk, Dieter Roelstraete, Francesco Stocchi, and Sjarel Ex, as well as a detailed conversation between Scott Clifford Evans and Gelatin. Brancusi, Rosso, Man Ray. Framing Sculpture
This catalogue is published to accompany the exhibition of the same name in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam (8 February-11 May 2014). The exhibition is a unique meeting of the work of three of the most influential artists of the twentieth century: Constantin Brancusi (1876-1957), Medardo Rosso (1858-1928) and Man Ray (1890-1976). The works exhibited and discussed in the catalogue, forty-five sculptures and some hundred photographs they took of them, offer a glimpse over the shoulders of these artists.Not only were Brancusi, Rosso and Man Ray all crucial in the development of modern sculpture, they were innovators in the way they involved photography in their work-not so much for recording it, but as a means of explaining how viewers should look at and interpret their sculptures. They played with the possibilities of the medium-experimental for the time-using overexposure, innovative camera angles and blurring the foreground or background.

An Honourable Man
According to the former mayor of a small town in Umbria, in a daring escapade carried out on a June night in 1944 in German-occupied Italy, he and a group of fellow partisans rescued some Jews from a concentration camp on a small island in the middle of Lake Trasimeno, thus saving them from deportation to the gas chambers of the Third Reich. But history is always written by the victors, and the son of the Fascist camp commander, who knows what really happened, is determined to make his voice heard before he dies. His political opponents have always shrugged off his testimony and it is only after an enquiry sparked off by the chance discovery of an early Jewish manuscript in the University of Perugia that they are finally forced to face up to the truth.

Gelitin have modeled a new book:La Livre – Paris. Inside is the La Louvre museum, made up of many details: romantic column garden, sculptures covered in molasses, plasticine Mona Lisas, paintings of flowery meadows, a giant foot cut out of cheese (stoically steaming away), sofas, antique pressboard vases, a small brown theatre, lit glassware, an empty middle and rotten shark.All of this pressed flat into four dimensions on around 200 pages with an introductory text by Tex Rubinowitz and sandwiched by a poem by Karl Holmqvist written in Kakabet.English and German text.
