A presente obra coroou a fundação da Associação Brasileira Energética de Resíduos (ABREN), do qual o autor é Presidente-Executivo, e que apesar de recém fundada, a Associação já apresenta trabalhos e resultados relevantes para o setor, além de assumir grande responsabilidade na implementação de um marco regulatório para as tecnologias de recuperação energética de resíduos (Waste-to-Energy) no Brasil.
