Doch Zeitreisen sind auch mit vielen Problemen behaftet. Die größte Gefahr droht durch Paradoxien, die das ganze Raumzeit-Kontinuum gefährden könnten. Einer dieser Paradoxien betrifft das Muttermord-Paradoxon.
