In this report developments in the recovery of precious metals bythe integration of solvent extraction and precipitationtechniques are described. In particular the application ofhydrolytic and hydrogen stripping techniques for the recovery ofgold and palladium from loaded organic solvents composed of Lix26, isodecanol, and Solvesso 150 is investigated.
"A novel technique of direct copper precipitation from a loaded chelating extractant using hydrogen in an autoclave (pressure hydrogen stripping) was studied. In its simplest form, the reaction is given by" --
A report of invention was recently filed for a new extraction system for removal of FE(III) from hot acid zinc leach solutions with pH control. In this present paper the technical work which led to this report of invention is described and technical data are reported. The basis of this work is that the extracant mono-2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid (M2EHPA) selectively extracts Fe(III) from H2SO4 acid solutions. This report gives technical data for extracting and stripping of Fe(III) from electrolyte solutions, both real and synthetic.

One morning Rafe wakes up to discover his bedroom is floating in a vast sea of water. An unforgettable illustrated novel for ages 10 and up with elements of James and the Giant Peach meets Waterworld and The Road.
