Consisting of undated military communique [ca. 1944] issued by Gen. Douglas MacArthur at the time of the Allied landing on New Guinea; 27 Jan. 1999 statement attesting that George R. Watson was a U.S. Navy radioman aboard the U.S.S. Wasatch and had made an unauthorized copy of the communique; and 2 black and white snapshot photographs taken by Watson of Gen. MacArthur and Adm. [Thomas C.] Kincaid on New Guinea.
