Pandemie COVID-19 významně urychlila definování distanční formy péče při práci s klienty a pacienty. Tato odborná monografie nabízí propojení analýz četných zahraničních zdrojů s originálním českým výzkumem a konkrétními odbornými zkušenostmi z praxe.
Metodika videokonferenčního kontaktu se zabývá teoretickým vymezením problematiky a obsahuje praktická doporučení a návody k implementaci distanční formy práce do praxe jednotlivce či organizace. Konkrétní postupy jsou zaměřeny na akvizici vhodných informačně-komunikačních prostředků, plánování služby, tvorbu informovaného souhlasu a adaptace distančních postupů do stávajících standardů kvality, včetně zabezpečení dat a informací. Předložená metodika vznikla v rámci projektu ""Možnosti on-line psychosociální péče pro situace omezeného přímého kontaktu"" (Technologická agentura ČR, č. projektu TL04000033) a byla schválena Ministerstvem práce a sociálních věcí České republiky jako výsledek výzkumu, experimentálního vývoje a inovací (osvědčení č. 003-2022-UPOL).
Boom – Crisis – Heritage, these terms aptly outline the history of global coal mining after 1945. The essays collected in this volume explore this history with different emphases and questions. The range of topics also reflects this broad approach. The first section contains contributions on political, social and economic history. They address the European energy system in the globalised world of the 20th and 21st centuries as well as specific social policies in mining regions. The second section then focuses on the medialisation of mining and its legacies, also paying attention to the environmental history of mining. The anthology, which goes back to a conference of the same name at the Deutsches Bergbau-Museum Bochum, thus offers a multi-faceted insight into the research field of modern mining history.
The study of transcriptomics is key to understanding complex diseases. This new edition will build on the foundation of the first edition while incorporating the progress that has been made in the field of transcriptomics in the past six years, including bioinformatics for data analysis. Written by leading experts, chapters address new subjects such as methodological advances in large-scale sequencing, the sequencing of single-cells, and spatial transcriptomics. The new edition will address how transcriptomics may be used in combination with genetic strategies to identify causative genes in monogenic and complex genetic diseases. Coverage will also explore transcriptomics in challenging groups of diseases, such as cancer, inflammation, bacterial infection, and autoimmune diseases. The updated volume will be useful for geneticists, genome biologists, biomedical researchers, molecular biologists, bioinformaticians, and students, among others.
This Special Issue deals with the fascinating material class of nanocomposites consisting of extremely small particles (nanoparticles) which are embedded in polymers. Such materials are of paramount interest in various disciplines, especially chemistry, physics, biomedicine and materials science. Due to the diversity of the components of nanocomposites, they provide a broad spectrum of material properties and applications. The versatility of nanocomposites is indeed reflected by the research covered in this Special Issue. The field of nanocomposites includes innovative science and a source of inspiration for currently relevant economic topics as well as for envisaged technologies of the future. Indeed, this volume alludes to strategies for the preparation of nanocomposites and possibilities for a variety of applications, such as catalytic reactions, gas barriers, high refractive index materials, corrosion protection, electromagnetic inference (EMI) shielding, lithium ion batteries, tissue engineering and plastic surgery.
The three volumes of the proceedings of MG15 give a broad view of all aspects of gravitational physics and astrophysics, from mathematical issues to recent observations and experiments. The scientific program of the meeting included 40 morning plenary talks over 6 days, 5 evening popular talks and nearly 100 parallel sessions on 71 topics spread over 4 afternoons. These proceedings are a representative sample of the very many oral and poster presentations made at the meeting.Part A contains plenary and review articles and the contributions from some parallel sessions, while Parts B and C consist of those from the remaining parallel sessions. The contents range from the mathematical foundatio...

This volume consists of a number of selected papers that were presented at the 9th International Conference on Knowledge, Information and Creativity Support Systems (KICSS 2014) in Limassol, Cyprus, after they were substantially revised and extended. The 26 regular papers and 19 short papers included in this proceedings cover all aspects of knowledge management, knowledge engineering, intelligent information systems, and creativity in an information technology context, including computational creativity and its cognitive and collaborative aspects.
