Alone and lost in the blitzed city, Charlie Cornelius must navigate a shattered reality by creating her own maps.
Charlotte Jennifer Grace Cornelius - As a child, she survived war and loneliness. How, as she grows to adulthood, will she fare with peace and companionship? How will she cope with love?
Thief, Jeniche, challenges the imperial ambitions of the fictional Occassan nation.
The world is finally recovering from the effects of pandemic, war, and economic collapse. Disease is still rife, people still starve, and the peace is fragile. Yet humanity still strives for the stars, taking its first steps along the path of interplanetary exploration. And with them, both on and off the battlefields, robots have an increasing role. Not everyone is happy with this, including some of the machines... This novel is based, with permission, on an original story and audio-script by Sheriden Starr with additions by Lee Potts of Omenopus. It is not a straightforward retelling of the story recounted in the album (The Archives - Omenopus - Monty Maggot Records - MMCD009). It is an interpretation of events, an offering of back story, and an exploration of some of the dilemmas posed by the original tale.
The third instalment in the Shadow of the Storm series.
Torn from the sweet embrace of victory and freedom, Jeniche and Alltud find themselves once more in the clutches of the Occassans. They are borne across the ocean to the city of Amparo in the very heart of their enemy's territory. There, not knowing each other's fate, they are imprisoned by the Order and face an uncertain future. Yet in that darkness, Jeniche finally learns to unlock the power that others have torn the world apart to find. And as Occassus descends into civil conflict, she stands face-to-face with the ultimate enemy - herself.
Jeniche of Antar’s old life has a nasty habit of catching up with her.
