Advances in Complex Geometry
This volume contains contributions from speakers at the 2015–2018 joint Johns Hopkins University and University of Maryland Complex Geometry Seminar. It begins with a survey article on recent developments in pluripotential theory and its applications to Kähler–Einstein metrics and continues with articles devoted to various aspects of the theory of complex manifolds and functions on such manifolds.
Perspectives In Scalar Curvature (In 2 Volumes)
Volume I contains a long article by Misha Gromov based on his many years of involvement in this subject. It came from lectures delivered in Spring 2019 at IHES. There is some background given. Many topics in the field are presented, and many open problems are discussed. One intriguing point here is the crucial role played by two seemingly unrelated analytic means: index theory of Dirac operators and geometric measure theory.Very recently there have been some real breakthroughs in the field. Volume I has several survey articles written by people who were responsible for these results.For Volume II, many people in areas of mathematics and physics, whose work is somehow related to scalar curvature, were asked to write about this in any way they pleased. This gives rise to a wonderful collection of articles, some with very broad and historical views, others which discussed specific fascinating subjects.These two books give a rich and powerful view of one of geometry's very appealing sides.

Mathematical Essays: In Honor Of Su Buchin
This is a collection of research papers published in various mathematical journals by friends, colleagues and former students of Professor Buchin Su in honor ofhis 80th birthday and 50th year of educational work.Professor Su was born in 1902 in Pingyang County, Zhejiang Province,People's Republic of China. He received the degree of Bachelor of Science inmathematics from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan in 1927, and the degree ofDoctor of Science from the same university in 1931. After returning to Chinain 1931, he first taught at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou until 1952 when thewhole College of Science of Zhejiang University was merged into Fudan Universityin Shanghai. During his 50 years of educational work besides teaching, he alsohas taken up various administrative positions serving as Chairman, Dean, VicePresident and finally the President of Fudan University in 1978.
