Es por eso que este libro aporta al conocimiento técnico-constructivo de los templos conventuales masculinos en el Nuevo Reino de Granada siglos XVI al XVIII, mediante un análisis de contenido de un gran número de fuentes secundarias publicadas hasta el momento, un análisis documental y grafico de fuentes primarias localizadas en diferentes archivos y una exploración en campo de cada uno de los edificios estudiados.
