Pemerintah perlu menghadirkan berbagai strategi khusus dalam mengembangkan pembiayaan di sektor pertanian, tidak menutup kemungkinan pembiayaan dalam mekanisme sesuai dengan Syariah. Tantangannya adalah bagaimana sistem pembiayaan pertanian yang saat ini telah diberlakukan secara konvensional dapat pula diaplikasikan dalam sistem syariah. Harapannya tentu saja dengan diberlakukannya sistem pembiayaan syariah sektor pertanian yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam, maka pertanian di Indonesia yang mayoritas petaninya muslim akan semakin berkembang. Buku ini ditulis beranjak dari kegelisan penulis untuk menghadirkan sistem dan mekanisme pembiayaan sektor pertanian yang bisa diimplementasikan dalam memitigasi kerugian pembiayaan Lembaga Keuangan Syariah ketika melaksanakan pembiayaan di sektor pertanian di satu sisi dan di sisi lain petani muslim bisa mendapatkan pembiayaan sesuai dengan nilai-nilai keimanan mereka.
