Die Hamburger Kunsthalle beschreitet mit ihrer Präsentation Transparentes Museum neue Wege: Aufgrund dieser großen Aufmerksamkeit für das Transparente Museum ist nun eine Publikation erschienen, in der die bisherigen Erfahrungen und Ergebnisse dokumentiert, evaluiert und reflektiert werden. Damit kommt die Kunsthalle dem Wunsch zahlreicher Multiplikator*innen und Expert*innen aus der Fachwelt verschiedenster Museen und Hochschulen nach, auch die Konzeptionsprozesse, die gesammelten Erkenntnisse und die Reaktionen auf das Projekt transparent zu machen. Die Autor*innen sind sowohl junge als auch renommierte Forscher*innen, die den Blick auf dieses besondere Ausstellungs- und Vermittlungsprojekt und seine mögliche Weiterentwicklung lenken. Mit der Veröffentlichung leistet die Kunsthalle einen wichtigen Beitrag für die (Selbst-)Bildungsprozesse der Besucher*innen, vor allem aber auch der Museumsinstitution selbst auf ihrem Weg der Öffnung und stetigen Erneuerung.
