Química de macrocomponentes de alimentos es un material muy valioso para fortalecer el aprendizaje y fundamentos de los diversos cursos de la licenciatura de Química de Alimentos (QA), porque dirige al estudiante desde la comprensión de las cuestiones químicas y estructurales más básicas, hasta las más complejas, sin obviar los detalles de las diferentes etapas de reacción. Es una referencia para los profesionales que están en el ámbito educativo de otras carreras afines a QA, como Ingeniería de Alimentos, Tecnología de Alimentos y Nutrición, entre otras.
El tratamiento de aguas residuales por medio de los humedales artificiales se ha empleado por más de 20 años a nivel mundial. Sus ventajas con respecto a sistemas convencionales, en cuanto a bajos costos de construcción y operativos, requerimientos mínimos de personal capacitado, buenas eficiencias en remoción de contaminantes, incluidos los microorganismos, los han convertido en sistemas que no solamente han sido empleados para tratar las aguas residuales de pequeñas y medianas comunidades si no que han sido utilizados para la depuración de aguas residuales de tipo industrial. Por tal motivo, este tipo de ecotecnología resulta altamente atractiva para ser aplicada en países en vías de desarrollo como México.

Nicolás Guagnini: Theatre of the Self is a hybrid catalogue-reader based on the exhibition of the multi-threaded performances of Buenos Aires-born New York-based Guagnini. Many of these works, spanning from 2005 until 2019, have never been seen before or have not been seen since their original live presentation. Raised in Argentina during the "Dirty War" and violent military dictatorship, Guagnini moved to New York in the late 1990s and co-founded the film production company Union Gaucha Productions with Karin Schneider in 1997.
