Zainab

Zainab, a name which aptly reflects the beauty of this tale's protagonist is also the title of the first modern Egyptian novel written in native vernacular. Crafted in 1910 by a privileged member of society and a student at the time living in Paris, Mohammed Hussein Haikal later rose through the ranks of Egyptian politics and media. The writer, journalist and politician also holds a number of written works to his name, including The House of Revelation (1939) and Thus was I Created (1955). Haikal successfully humanises and contextualises Egypt's societal issues without too reproachful a voice. As the great poet, Ahmed Fouad Negm said, 'it is better to wake your child up through laughter, rat...

Applications of Nanofluids in the Chemical and Biomedical Process Industry provides detailed knowledge about the mathematical, numerical, and experimental methodologies of the application of nanofluids in heat transfer, mass transfer, and biomedical processes. The book is divided into three main sections with the first providing a detailed overview of the thermophysical and optical properties of nanofluids enhancement in heat exchangers and boiling operations. The second section gives a detailed overview of nanofluid application in CO2 absorption/regeneration and metal extraction/stripping operations, while the third provides an overview of the application ofnanofluids in biomedical processe...

Hybrid Nanofluids for Application in the Chemical and Petroleum Industry covers the basics of hybrid nanofluids in heat transfer processes as well as their application in the chemical and petroleum industries. Beginning with a detailed overview of the thermo-physical and optical properties of hybrid nanofluids, the book goes on to cover the applications of hybrid nanofluids in the chemical industry, including application in the heat-transfer enhancement in heat exchangers, CO2 absorption/regeneration and metal extraction/stripping operations. The final section covers the applications of hybrid nanofluids and heat-transfer enhancement in the petroleum industry, while also providing recent advances and the challenges of nanofluid applications in industrial processes. The detailed mechanism and inter-relation of nanofluid's property and performance enhancement mechanism in the various chemical and petroleum processes is included.

You May Get Sold but Don’T Sell My Country

This book contains details of how tyranny has risen in Bangladesh, the country that was founded in 1971 with the principle of democracy. It hopes to answer why and how the hopes and aspirations of our people have been ruined due to corrupt politicians, intellectuals, and bureaucrats. It hopes to answer why and how the evil totalitarian took place and how the current tyranny has been strengthened in such a horrific stage that the peace-loving people cant express their opinion under the ferocity of Sheikh Hasina. In my writings, I have described the historical background of our country up to the modern tyrannical era, which shouldnt exist anywhere on the face of the planet in the twenty-first ...

From that terrible night, to the escape from Iraq by bus, on horseback, in a small boat on a raging river and finally, hiding in a lorry on a ship. It covers his journey from Kirkuk to the Iraq-Iran border, through Iran, into Turkey and then on to England and safety. Mohammed and his mother we were granted 'leave to stay' in England in 2002.
