ICLSSE 2021
The 3rd International Conference on Law, Education and Social Sciences (ICLSSE) 2021 is an international forum to disseminate knowledge and research development among researchers, scholars, professionals, and those interested in research interests Law and Social Sciences and Social Education. This conference was organized by the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The theme of this third conference: "Social Resilience in a Post-Pandemic Era". No doubt that in the Pandemic Corona era, we all together experienced coronavirus outbreaks in the socio-cultural and economic life of the community. As an academician, we all have to study how in this new normal era we are trying to increase socio-cultural, socio-psychological, and socio-economic resilience of the society through various innovations that can be developed together in research activities in the field of social sciences and law in general. So this conference can become a good vehicle for us to share all experiences and ideas about increasing social resilience in a post-pandemic era from many perspectives of Law, Social Science, and Social Education in general.
ICLSSE 2020
As an annual event, The 2nd International Conference on Law, Social Sciences and Education (ICLSSE) 2020 continued the agenda to bring together researcher, academics, experts and professionals in examining selected theme by applying multidisciplinary approaches. In 2020, this event will be held in 10 November at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The conference from any kind of stakeholders related with Education, Political, Law and Social Related Studies. Each contributed paper was refereed before being accepted for publication. The double-blind peer reviewed was used in the paper selection.

The rise of technology and ease of spread of information has facilitated the diaspora of new ideas in the community. The penetration of new ideology and new values challenges the status quo of value and morality in our community. While this can be seen as an opportunity to evolve as a nation, the introduction of radical and separatism brings chaos to the community. This issue is not only experienced in Indonesia but also in the whole world. The 5th International Conference on Law, Social Sciences and Education (ICLSSE) 2023 is an international forum for disseminating knowledge and research development from researchers, practitioners, professionals, and those in legal studies, social sciences, and social science education. The main objectives of the conference are: -to disseminate knowledge and discussion on law, social sciences, and social science education -to provide a platform and opportunity for all academics and professionals through academic dialogue -to prepare academics, professionals, and the public to address educational, sociocultural, legal, and geographical issues to support Indonesian Constitutionalism.
Bencana Alam di Bali dalam Perspektif Ilmu Geografi
Bali adalah gabungan epik antara keindahan alam tropis dan ancaman bencana alam yang mengintai. Dari perspektif ilmu geografi, Bali terletak di Cincin Api Pasifik, kawasan yang dikenal dengan aktivitas vulkanik dan gempa bumi yang tinggi. Aktivitas geologis ini mempengaruhi morfologi pulau, membentuk pegunungan yang indah namun rentan terhadap erosi dan longsor. Selain itu, dengan pemanasan global, ancaman kenaikan permukaan laut, perubahan musim dan badai tropis juga meningkat, mengancam keberlanjutan ekosistem pesisir dan daratan Bali. Buku ini tidak hanya menggambarkan kerentanan geografis Pulau Bali terhadap bencana, tetapi juga bagaimana seharusnya masyarakat lokal dan pemerintah bekerja sama dalam mitigasi dan adaptasi untuk melindungi kehidupan dan keindahan pulau ini. Buku ini dapat menjadi gambaran ringkas namun mendalam tentang hubungan kompleks antara geografi, bencana, dan manusia di Pulau Dewata.
Pendidikan IPS
Tujuan dari pembelajaran IPS pada jenjang sekolah dasar, adalah untuk mengembangkan diri sesuai dengan bakat, minat, kemamprun dan lingkungannya, serta sebagai bekal bagi siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Pola pembelajaran IPS di SD hendaknya lebih menekanlan pada unsur pendidikan dan pembekalan pemahaman, nilai-moral, dan keterampilan-keterampilan sosial pada siswa. Untuk itu, penekanan pembelajarannya bukan sebatas pada upaya mencekoki atau menjejali siswa dengan sejumlah konsep yang bersifat hapalan belaka, melainkan terletak pada upaya menjadikan siswa memiliki seperangkat pengetahuan, sikap, nilai, dan keterampilan. Pembahasan dalam buku ini disajikan dalam 5 bab: 1) hakikat ilmu pengetahuan sosial, 2) sejarah perkembangan IPS, 3) pedekatan pembelajaran IPS, 4) IPS dan rumpun ilmu sosial, dan 5) pembelajaran terpadu dalam IPS.
