XXXII INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE SPANISH SOCIETY FOR COMPARATIVE PSYCHOLOGY
The XXXII International Conference of the Spanish Society for Comparative Psychology has been organized by the Spanish Society of Comparative Psychology (SEPC), at the University of Almeria, on 21st, 22nd and 23rd September of 2022. The present work includes the abstracts of the different symposia, oral communications and poster sessions presented during the meetings. There were 2 plenary lectures about “Perceptual learning mechanisms and its implications for eating behavior” presented by Isabel de Brugada Sauras (University of Granada) and “Expanding the scope of associative learning models by incorporating the untidiness of natural stimuli” presented by Federico Sanabria and Cristina Santos (Arizona State University). Moreover, There were 30 symposia (divided into 7 sessions), 41 oral communications (divided into 8 sessions), and 55 posters (divided into 3 sessions). Finally, 21 people constituted the organizational committee and 27 people constituted the scientific committee.

"This volume furthers our understanding of key basins in central and southern Mexico, and establishes links to exhumed sediment source areas in a plausible paleogeographic framework. Authors present new data and models on the relations between Mexican terranes and the assembly and breakup of western equatorial Pangea, plate-tectonic and terrane reconstructions, uplift and exhumation of source areas, the influence of magmatism on sedimentary systems, and the provenance and delivery of sediment to Mesozoic and Cenozoic basins. Additionally, authors establish relationships between basement regions in the areas that supplied sediment to Mesozoic rift basins, Late Cretaceous foreland systems, and Cenozoic basins developed in response to Cordilleran events"--

Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation
Accelerated partial breast irradiation (APBI) is being rapidly introduced into the clinical management of early breast cancer. APBI, in fact, encompasses a number of different techniques and approaches that include brachytherapy, intraoperative, and external beam techniques. There is currently no single source that describes these techniques and their clinical implementation. This text is a concise handbook designed to assist the clinician in the implementation of APBI. This includes a review of the principles that underlie APBI, a practical and detailed description of each technique for APBI, a review of current clinical results of APBI, and a review of the incidence and management of treatment related complications.
Cells of the Immune System
The cells of the immune system are lymphocytes (T-cells, B-cells and NK (natural killer) cells), neutrophils, eosinophils, and monocytes/macrophages. This book is an overview of some types of these cells and their role in recognizing and/or reacting against foreign material. The immune system is characterized by collaboration between cells and proteins. The development of all cells of the immune system begins in the bone marrow with a hematopoietic stem cell. Two chapters deal with neutrophils, three chapters with T-cells, four chapters with eosinophils, and other chapters review the immunomodulation of macrophages, the role of transcription factor KLF4 in regulating plasticity of myeloid-derived suppressor cells, immune reconstitution after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and role of sorption detoxification in the therapy of acute radiation sickness.
