Pastoral and Spiritual Care Across Religions and Cultures
Ausgehend von spezifischen Bedürfnissen von Seelsorge, Spiritual Care und Beratung in verschiedenen Bereichen werden Fragen der Interkulturalität, Interreligiosität und des interdisziplinären Austausches bearbeitet. Seelsorge- und Beratungskonzepte aus verschiedenen Weltreligionen werden vorgestellt und die Erwartungen verschiedener Gemeinschaften an Spiritual Care analysiert und verglichen mit konfessioneller Seelsorge und Beratung. Im ersten Teil des Bandes wird das jeweilige Verständnis von Spiritual Care aus der Perspektive der Seelsorge, der Psychologie sowie der Medizin sowie dessen Rückwirkungen auf die drei Disziplinen skizziert. Im zweiten Teil wird je aus jüdischer, islamischer und christlicher Sicht ein Blick auf Spiritual Care, Seelsorge und Beratung im Kontext pluraler Gesellschaften geworfen. Der dritte Teil umfasst 7 Fallstudien zum Stellenwert und zur Praxis von Spiritual Care auf 5 Kontinenten.
