Nesse mister, o policial federal é introjetado do espírito de bem-servir, a ponto de confundir a vida privada com a vida pública. Mesmo nos horários de lazer, o seu dia a dia de policial faz parte do meio em que vive. Ações que, não raras vezes, puseram em risco a sua vida fazem parte das conversas entre amigos e familiares. Como sou um jurássico da Polícia Federal, tornei-me testemunha de seu surgimento e de sua evolução. Ao longo desse tempo, fui não só personagem de algumas histórias, mas, por compartilhar de momentos de descontração com os colegas, coligi muitas histórias por eles narradas das quais fizeram parte. Momentos de extrema tensão por eles vividos eram descritos com bom humor e motivavam gostosas gargalhadas. Isso me incentivou a registrá-las, e hoje se eternizam neste compêndio.
