Thomas Orton (b.1613) emigrated from England to Massachusetts about 1636, and married Margaret Pratt in 1641. They moved to Farmington, Connecticut in 1655, where he died after 1688. Descendants and relatives lived in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and elsewhere.
