Acts of the Lords of the Isles, 1336-1493
The Lordship of the Isles was a hereditary title passed down through Clan Donald from Donald, Lord of the Isles. He was a descendant of John, Lord of the Isles who was a descendant of Angus Og of Islay. He married Margaret, daughter of King Robert II of Scotland.
