Dr. Osgood, Fairfield, Conn., August 12, 1874" (p.[6]-8); a few smaller contributions and various selections by Walker himself. Two photographs are mounted on blank leaves at the beginning of the item, showing the gifts chosen for Dr. Walker on this occasion (ornate and inscribed cup and plate designed and executed by Tiffany and Co., N.Y.), which are more fully discussed in "Remarks" (p. [14]-15).
