The pioneering organizers of the ?rst UML workshop in Mulhouse, France inthe summerof1998couldhardlyhaveanticipatedthat,in littleoveradecade, theirinitiativewouldblossomintotoday’shighlysuccessfulMODELSconference series, the premier annual gathering of researchersand practitioners focusing on a very important new technical discipline: model-based software and system engineering.
