Ken Price Drawings
Drawing was essential to the art of Ken Price (1935-2012): "For me drawing is really flexible, and I use it in different ways. It's my way of developing ideas." This volume provides the most substantial overview of Price's widely lauded drawing practice. Price's earliest drawings, from the 1960s, explore forms and colors for his abstract sculptures, but he also drew bizarre objects, like cups with a leaping frog or a cavorting nude for a handle. By the end of the 1960s the imaginary spaces they inhabited were fully realized in high-key colors and precise detail. Around 2002, when Price and his family moved permanently to Taos, New Mexico, the landscape of his drawings grew wilder. In their erupting volcanoes, cyclonic skies and turbulent seas, nature is a dominant force. By 2005 Price had begun incorporating his sculptural forms into this same primordial world, reimagining them as monumental figures.

Tatiana Trouvé Great Atlas of Disorientation
The first large-scale presentation of Trouvé's drawings on mediums ranging from canvas to curtains Internationally celebrated for her large-scale drawings, cast and carved sculptures, and site-specific installations, Paris-based Italian artist Tatiana Trouvé (born 1968) explores the relationship between memory and material. highlighting the passage of time against the remarkable endurance of common objects. Since the mid-1990s she has been in the forefront of European artists renewing the genres of sculpture and installation. Published for a major 2022 exhibition at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, this handsomely designed volume presents 250 previously unpublished drawings from the 1990 up to the present, ranging from drawings on canvas to wall pieces, drawings executed on curtains and more. The book also features a text by Laura Hoptman, director of the Drawing Center in New York, and an interview by Jean-Pierre Criqui, Centre Pompidou curator and art critic.
Christian Marclay
On 4 July 2005, Christian Marclay photographed a marching band at an Independence Day parade in Hyde Park, New York. He then produced eight photographs as large prints, and proceeded to tear them up into more than 40 pieces. The result is this artist's book, which composes Marclay's chaotic photo-fragments into a visual and narrative equivalent of a sound-art work.
