Divadelní režisér a člověk Oldřich Stibor (1901–1943)
Kniha Heleny Spurné pojednává o jedné z nejpozoruhodnějších osobností české divadelní režie třicátých let. Autorka se v publikaci snaží podat komplexní obraz Stiborových mnohostranných divadelních aktivit a objektivně zhodnotit jeho přínos českému divadlu. Stibor se čtenáři představuje ve své obvyklé podobě – jako režisér, jenž se hlásil k metodě socialistického realismu –, už méně znám je ale svými inscenacemi s duchovní tematikou či jako režisér opery. Publikace není pouze teatrologickou prací, nýbrž také sondou historickou, potvrzující souvztažnost divadla s politicko-společenským děním.
