This book constitutes the refereed post-conference proceedings of the 3rd EAI International Conference on Sustainable Energy for Smart Cities, SESC 2021, held in November 2021. The subject of this book arises from recent developments in the inventory, preservation and study of mural paintings from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, particularly those from what can be considered the periphery of Europe.
