More than 900 German aircraft took to the skies and attacked the vulnerable fields, destroying 200 Allied aircraft and damaging 150 more. In a pyrrhic victory, the Luftwaffe lost 271 fighters, with many more damaged, and 213 pilots--irreplaceable losses at this stage of the war.
A Houck Family History
Martin Hauck, son of Martin Hauck and Barbara Sonnenberger, was born 10 February 1683 in Wessingen, Hohenzollern. He married Anna Maria Kunz, daughter of Georg Kunz and Eva Scherer, in 1712. They had eight children. Many of their descendants immigrated to America.

Insgesamt 22 Beiträge widmen sich der Entwicklung der Grundrechte in Österreich und ihren praktischen Folgen. In einem ersten Kapitel werden die Allgemeinen Grundrechtslehren behandelt. Das hierauf folgende Kapitel ist mit Freiheit, Gleichheit und justitielle Garantien überschrieben. Hierauf folgt eine Darstellung der politischen Rechte, der sozialen Rechte sowie des Minderheitenschutzes. Der praxisrelevante Schutz und die Durchsetzung der Grundrechte ist Gegenstand des letzten Kapitels. Auszüge aus den wichtigsten Verfassungstexten sind in einem Anhang abgedruckt.
