John Dick was born 7 November 1810 in Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland. His parents were John Dick and Nancy Wardrope. He married Agnes Suart in 1834 in Kendal, Westmoreland, England. They had ten children. They immigrated to Australia in 1840. Includes McLaren, Waldron and related families.
