William Hulette (1782-1834), a soldier in the War of 1812, was born in Virginia. He migrated to Kentucky and married Rachel Page in 1807 in Clark County, Kentucky. They had ten children, 1810-after 1822. The family moved to Franklin County, Kentucky, in 1827. William and Rachel Hulette are buried on their farm in the Mt. Zion neighborhood. Descendants listed lived in Kentucky and elsewhere. The surname is spelled Hulette and Hulett.
