Photocopy of the diary of John Sims, who, with his family, was living at Montpellier Villa, Box Forest, Will Will Rook, Melbourne. The diary begins on September 1st 1855 and concludes on the 27th May 1856. On the last page of the diary are two poems: "Which do I love the best?" by Eliza Cook, and "Hope and sleep" by G.T.
