Lange’s Commentary on the Old and New Testaments, translated, revised, edited and enlarged from the German editions of John Peter Lange and many contributors, and edited by Philip Schaff. Lange’s Commentary on the entire Bible has remained one of the most useful and valuable work of its kind. It is conservative in theology and universal in hermeneutics. The Family History of Georg Lange and Barbara Fedeler and Their Descendants
History of the Lange families in the United States. This branch of the Lange family came from Bickenriede, Germany. The earliest known ancestors, Georg Lange (ca. 1650-1713) and his wife, Barbara Fedeler (ca. 1660-1707), had five children born in Bickenriede, Sachsen, Preussen, Germany. The earliest Lange ancestor to emigrate from Bickenriede to southwestern Wisconsin was Victoria Lange (1823-1902), the daughter of Johann Adam Lange and Anna Maria Apolonia Boettcher. She was married to John Joseph Wiederhold. They arrive in New Orleans, La. on May 29, 1846. Sixteen years later her brother, Johann Valentin Adam Lange (1816-1895), came to Wisconsin with his wife, Josepha Gassmann, and their four children, Longinus, Theodore, Herman and Johann Norbert. They arrived in New York City on Oct. 2, 1862. Both of these Lange ancestors settled in Jamestown Twp. in southwestern Wisconsin.

Gwen Stefani and No Doubt: Simple Kind of Life
The eclectic Orange County band No Doubt was formed in 1986 by Eric Stefani and John Spence who soon recruited Eric’s younger sister Gwen as co-vocalist. With the addition of Tony Kanal on Bass, they launched a 20 year career that would fuse ska, grunge, alt. rock and shades of several other musical genres into a unique mix. John Arpin
Born and raised in Port McNicoll, John Arpin discovered his musical talents early: at the age of four he could pick out tunes on the piano that he had heard on the radio; by ten, he had been identified as a child prodigy by a Royal Conservatory of Music adjudicator. He would go on to become one of Canada’s finest keyboard virtuosos, playing at concert halls around the world. Equally at ease performing solo piano concerts, being accompanied by a full symphony orchestra, jamming with jazz greats, or accompanying opera singers, he was, perhaps, best known as the premier ragtime pianist of his day. This authorized biography is based on more than 40 hours of conversation during the last four years of John’s life and supported by extensive research. Included are his friendships with Glenn Gould, Gordon Lightfoot, and others, his years as the designated artist for Yamaha, and his rise to prominence as a veteran of the concert stage.
